67. My Vision on The Incessant Pursuit of Unity and the Holy Spirit by the Professing SDA Church

Eze 22:24 Son of man, say unto her, Thou [art] the land that is not cleansed, nor rained upon (No Holy Spirit presence in the apostate SDA church) in the day of indignation.

Concerning his Son Jesus Christ our Lord, which was made of the seed of David according to the flesh; And declared [to be] the Son of God with power, according to the spirit of holiness, by the resurrection from the dead: By whom we have received grace and apostleship, for obedience to the faith among all nations, for his name:”  Rom. 1:3-5.

In the early hours of the a.m., August 5, 2013, the Lord gave me the substance of the following treatise in vision and instructed me to give this presentation to His professed people, the professing Seventh-day Adventist church. I was shown the following facts relative to the condition of the world church at this time.

The greatest irony of the new movement, new organization (1SM 204-205), professing Seventh-day Adventist church, is the incessant pursuit of the gift of the Holy Spirit and unity while that once church militant has rejected the gift of the Holy Spirit, the presence of which is the only source of unity. I was shown that every apostasy abomination for which we are counseled by God to sigh and cry, involves a rejection of the counsel of Ellen G. White, the voice of the Holy Spirit gift to the church, and that Ezekiel 22:24 is in direct consequence of the apostasy, and part of the literal end-time fulfillment of Ezekiel 9, as prophesied by Mrs. White.

I was shown that the relentless pursuit of unity and the gift of the Holy Spirit on the part of what is known as the professing Seventh-day Adventist church, is like the pursuit of a full belly while rejecting food.

God indicts His people with rejecting knowledge; the very knowledge that was to be the means of indwelling them with the Holy Spirit and unity till Jesus comes. That knowledge was to come not only through the Bible but by the gift of prophesy to the church.

I was shown in bold relief, the following verses from Ephesians chapter 4, and the commentary I should add to them. Ephesians chapter 4 demonstrates very vividly and precisely how a people denude and destroy themselves without the gift of the Holy Spirit amongst them.

Eph 4:10   He that descended is the same also that ascended up far above all heavens, that he might fill all things.

Eph 4:11   And he gave some, apostles; and some, prophets; and some, evangelists; and some, pastors and teachers;

God gives prophets to instruct and thus edify the church by elaboration on certain things in scripture that confound some without the gift of spiritual discernment, and thus cause division in the church. I was shown that because tares do indeed exist in even the true camp of Israel until the harvest, that is the very reason why the gift of prophecy is necessary UNTIL THE HARVEST. The tares will not discern the truth. They will cause division by their mistaken personal interpretations. The gift of the Holy Spirit is to correct such mistaken interpretations that will occur even in the true church militants until the harvest.

 Eph 4:12   For the perfecting of the saints, for the work of the ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ:

Many of the apostate thorns in the professing SDA church do not believe in the perfecting of the saints, and they are very open in admitting their heresy on this point of issue. They write books of a new order depicting their unbelief of Ephesians 4:12.

 Eph 4:13   Till we all come in the unity of the faith, and of the knowledge of the Son of God, unto a perfect man, unto the measure of the stature of the fulness of Christ:

Much of the world church of Seventh-day Adventists have rejected the very means buy which unity of the faith and knowledge of the Son of God is given to the church members, and I refer to the gift of prophecy, the gift of the Holy Spirit, via Ellen G. White, and other God appointed prophets that have tried to give their messages to the omega of apostasy, new movement, SDA church, (1SM 204-205).

 Eph 4:14   That we [henceforth] be no more children, tossed to and fro, and carried about with every wind of doctrine, by the sleight of men, [and] cunning craftiness, whereby they lie in wait to deceive;

The professing SDA church members are truly tossed to and fro and carried about with every wind of doctrine and the sleight of men and cunning craftiness of their leaders whereby God says His people are led to destruction.

 Eph 4:15   But speaking the truth in love, may grow up into him in all things, which is the head, [even] Christ:

Eph 4:16   From whom the whole body fitly joined together and compacted by that which every joint supplieth, according to the effectual working in the measure of every part, maketh increase of the body unto the edifying of itself in love.

Eph 4:17   This I say therefore, and testify in the Lord, that ye henceforth walk not as other Gentiles walk, in the vanity of their mind,

Eph 4:18   Having the understanding darkened, being alienated from the life of God through the ignorance that is in them, because of the blindness of their heart:

Eph 4:19   Who being past feeling have given themselves over unto lasciviousness, to work all uncleanness with greediness.

Eph 4:20   But ye have not so learned Christ;

Eph 4:21   If so be that ye have heard him, and have been taught by him, as the truth is in Jesus:

Eph 4:22   That ye put off concerning the former conversation the old man, which is corrupt according to the deceitful lusts;

Eph 4:23   And be renewed in the spirit of your mind;

Eph 4:24   And that ye put on the new man, which after God is created in righteousness and true holiness.

Eph 4:25 Wherefore putting away lying, speak every man truth with his neighbour: for we are members one of another.

Eph 4:26   Be ye angry, and sin not: let not the sun go down upon your wrath:

Eph 4:27   Neither give place to the devil.

Eph 4:28   Let him that stole steal no more: but rather let him labour, working with [his] hands the thing which is good, that he may have to give to him that needeth.

Eph 4:29   Let no corrupt communication proceed out of your mouth, but that which is good to the use of edifying, that it may minister grace unto the hearers.

Eph 4:30   And grieve not the Holy Spirit of God, whereby ye are sealed unto the day of redemption.

Eph 4:31   Let all bitterness, and wrath, and anger, and clamour, and evil speaking, be put away from you, with all malice:

Eph 4:32   And be ye kind one to another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, even as God for Christ's sake hath forgiven you.

Much of the Seventh-day Adventist world church has rejected the gift of prophecy that God gave to the church via Ellen G. White. God indicts His people with rejecting knowledge, and finally destroys those who REJECT KNOWLEDGE AND THUS GRIEVE AWAY THE HOLY SPIRIT. Both these acts on the part of His people constitute unpardonable sin because they result in destruction. Notice:

Hsa 4:6 My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge: because thou hast rejected knowledge, I will also reject thee, that thou shalt be no priest to me: seeing thou hast forgotten the law of thy God, I will also forget thy children.

The words of God to ancient Israel have a solemn warning to the church and its leaders today. Of Israel the Lord said, “I have written to him the great things of My law; but they were counted as a strange thing.” Hosea 8:12. And to the priests and teachers He declared, “My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge; because thou hast rejected knowledge, I will also reject thee; ... seeing thou hast forgotten the law of thy God, I will also forget thy children.” Hosea 4:6. {COL 306.2}

The SDA church claims to be the true church because it was given the gift of prophesy. But when a huge segment of the church the world over rejects that gift in the person of Ellen G. White, how can the church pray for and receive the gift of the Holy Spirit, when that gift was in the person of Ellen G. White; when the knowledge for which God’s people perish, came through Ellen G. White?

The gift of prophesy was given by Christ for the following purposes:

·       The perfecting of the saints. There is no perfecting of the saints within the new movement SDA church. Nor does that church teach the perfecting of the saints this side of glorification. There may be a few ministers who teach this, like Herbert Douglass, but he is corporately responsible for the rest of the leaders who teach that perfection is impossible this side of glorification. God will not accept a fork-tongued gospel in His church. God’s presence cannot accompany the attempt at truth on the part of some, while other leaders teach the opposite. The disciples of Christ were of ONE ACCORD. They all taught the same gospel.

·       The work of the ministry. The work of the ministry in the SDA church is in decline because of its rejection of the Holy Spirit’s counsel via Ellen G. White.

·       The edifying of the body of Christ.

·       Till we all come in the unity of the faith and of the knowledge of the Son of God.

·       The church is not in full unity of the faith and the knowledge of the Son of God, because it has rejected the SOURCE of that full knowledge. That is why in 1980, the church adopted the Trinity Doctrine that is totally antichrist, when the gift of the Holy Spirit via Ellen G. White, gave the full truth on the Godhead.

·       Till we all become perfect unto the measure of the stature of the fullness of Christ.

·       We all have not become perfect. For this attainment, the church would need the gift of the Holy Spirit. It would need to heed the full counsel of the Holy Spirit.

·       That we [henceforth] be no more children, tossed to and fro, and carried about with every wind of doctrine, by the sleight of men, [and] cunning craftiness, whereby they lie in wait to deceive;

·       Without the guidance of the Holy Spirit, the members are tossed to and from and carried about with every wind of doctrine.

·       But speaking the truth in love, may grow up into him in all things, which is the head, [even] Christ:

·       From whom the whole body fitly joined together and compacted by that which every joint supplieth, according to the effectual working in the measure of every part, maketh increase of the body unto the edifying of itself in love.  There can be no true love and unity in the church without the abiding influence of the Holy Spirit gift to the church.

·       Eph 4:17 ¶ This I say therefore, and testify in the Lord, that ye henceforth walk not as other Gentiles (Babylonians) walk, in the vanity of their mind. We were called out of Gentile Babylon, to be God’s chosen people. We can only fulfill that CONDITION by the aid of the Holy Spirit, which the church is void of because it REJECTED the Holy Spirit gift through Ellen G. White. Church leaders have not followed her counsel. The greatest proof of this is the lack of unity and the apostasy existing in the once “church” today.

·       “It is with reluctance that the Lord withdraws His presence from those who have been blessed with great light and who have felt the power of the word in ministering to others. They were once His faithful servants, favored with His presence and guidance; but they departed from Him and led others into error, and therefore are brought under the divine displeasure.” {5T 212.2}

·       Eph 4:18 Having the understanding darkened, being alienated from the life of God through the ignorance that is in them, because of the blindness of their heart:  [This is why God’s people perish for a lack of the knowledge they have REJECTED in the person of Ellen G. White, the gift of the Holy Spirit to the church. Their understanding is thus darkened and they are alienated from the life of God through the IGNORANCE that is in them because of the BLINDNESS of their minds. Compare with Isaiah 56:10-12, wherein God indicts the watchmen as ALL IGNORANT and not able to understand. Do you believe God when He says that all of the watchmen that are in charge of His people are ALL IGNORANT AND CANNOT UNDERSTAND? If you don’t you are as bad as those foolish virgin watchmen.]

·        Eph 4:19   Who being past feeling have given themselves over unto lasciviousness, to work all uncleanness with greediness. [Compare this as well with Isaiah 56:10-12, where it says that the watchmen are ALL GREEDY. The Holy Spirit warned them via Ellen White that if they did not put lasciviousness and licentiousness out of the camp, they would become a sister to fallen Babylon. That is exactly what has happened because they REJECTED Ellen White’s counsel.]

·       "We must as a people [corporate responsibility) arouse and cleanse the camp of Israel. Licentiousness, unlawful intimacy, and unholy practices are coming in among us in a large degree...We are in danger of becoming a sister to fallen Babylon, of allowing our churches to become corrupted and filled with every foul spirit, a cage for every unclean and hateful bird, and will we be clear unless we make decided movements to cure the existing evil? E. G. White, Manuscript Releases No. 449, pp. 17, 18. (Letter 51, 1886 to Elder Butler) Testimonies on Sexual Behavior, Adultery, and Divorce, p. 193.

·       Eph 4:20   But ye have not so learned Christ;  [It is impossible to “learn Christ” without the indwelling aid of the Holy Spirit that gives spiritual discernment of all that is related to Christ, the way, the truth and the life].

·       Eph 4:21   If so be that ye have heard him, and have been taught by him, as the truth is in Jesus:

·       Eph 4:22   That ye put off concerning the former conversation the old man, which is corrupt according to the deceitful lusts;

·       Eph 4:23   And be renewed in the spirit of your mind;

·       Eph 4:24   And that ye put on the new man, which after God is created in righteousness and true holiness.  [If one has heard Christ and has been taught by Him, in the truth as it is in Jesus, that is evinced by putting off the former old man that was corrupt and full of deceitful lusts. It is evinced by the renewing in the spirit of one’s mind by the indwelling of the Holy Spirit, which cannot indwell a sinning person. A new man is a born again man/woman, born of the Holy Spirit indwelling the mind, the soul, and is permitted to do His works while one dies to self and one’s own selfish desires. This is the born again renewal of the mind resulting in true righteousness, true holiness.]

·       Eph 4:25 ¶ Wherefore putting away lying, speak every man truth with his neighbour: for we are members one of another.

·       Eph 4:26   Be ye angry, and sin not: let not the sun go down upon your wrath:

·       Eph 4:27   Neither give place to the devil.

·       Eph 4:28   Let him that stole steal no more: but rather let him labour, working with [his] hands the thing which is good, that he may have to give to him that needeth.

·       Eph 4:29   Let no corrupt communication proceed out of your mouth, but that which is good to the use of edifying, that it may minister grace unto the hearers.

[Deception and lying are put away and every man will speak truth with his neighbor FOR WE ARE MEMBERS ONE OF ANOTHER—this is a clear example of the Biblical principle of corporate responsibility to and for one another. We will not display anger nor let the sun go down on any form of wrath. We will not give any place to Satan. We will no longer break God’s commandments, but will work only that which is good that we may give only the PURE TRUTH to him that needs it. No corruption of truth will then proceed out of our mouths, but only pure truth that edifies the church, that it may minister grace (the workings of the Holy Spirit) unto all our hearers.].

·       Eph 4:30   And grieve not the holy Spirit of God, whereby ye are sealed unto the day of redemption.

·       Eph 4:31   Let all bitterness, and wrath, and anger, and clamour, and evil speaking, be put away from you, with all malice:

·       Eph 4:32   And be ye kind one to another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, even as God for Christ's sake hath forgiven you.

The angel of the Lord charged me to agitate the serious fact of truth that there is no surer way of grieving the Holy Ghost, whereby we are sealed unto the day of redemption, than to reject God’s prophets He has given to the church for its edification. That act, my friends, is unpardonable sin, to wit:

Luk 12:10 And whosoever shall speak a word against the Son of man, it shall be forgiven him: but unto him that blasphemeth against the Holy Ghost it shall not be forgiven.

The direct inference is that to speak against the Son of man, meaning the humanity of Christ, is pardonable. But to speak against the Divine Nature Holy Ghost, which Ellen White defines as the soul of the life of Christ’s Divine Nature Holy Spirit, is unpardonable sin. I was shown that by way of direct and explicit implication, to reject the counsel of the Holy Spirit to the church via Ellen G. White and other of God’s prophets to the church, is to speak against the Holy Ghost, and such shall not be forgiven. Such persons thus reject the very counsel of the Holy Spirit to God’s people, the heeding of which makes them ready to be sealed for redemption.

I was shown in no ambiguous terms that the weaknesses and errors of God’s servants are a stumbling stone to those who really do not want to obey God, so He permits the stumbling block of unbelief to further draw out the insincerity of such persons, much as God permitted the same thing in the experience of Lucifer. Thus the weaknesses of God’s servants who are weak and erring, become an obstacle, an impediment, a hindrance to the belief, progress and spiritual discernment understanding of all truth.

I was shown that it was the “obstacle” of Christ’s having laid aside His attributes of Divinity at His Incarnation beginning from the foundation of the earth (the Bible says that He was slain from the foundation of the earth), that caused Satan to feel He was more qualified than Christ and that he should be included in the counsels of heaven. Christ appeared as only another angel to Lucifer, and a weaker one at that—in that Lucifer was “apparently” the best looking and most talented of the angels. Thus, he felt indispensable and more qualified than he believed the Son of God to be.

It works the same way with the instruments God has chosen to bring counsel to His people. Many of the people feel more capable than the instruments God chooses. And some of them might have more potential, but God chooses His servants for qualities that are not always immediately apparent. This fact is apparent all through Scripture, to the calling of the disciples, who certainly did not appear as being as capable as the Scribes and the Pharisees. But God chooses weak and erring vessels:

Weak and Erring -- "As the Elder Brother of our race He (Christ) knows that the messengers whom He sees fit to send are WEAK, ERRING men but to all who give themselves wholly to His service He promises divine aid." E.G. White, Acts of the Apostles, p. 56.

On the other hand, the leaders among God's people are to guard against the danger of condemning the methods of individual workers who are led by the Lord to do a special work that but few are fitted to do. Let brethren in responsibility be slow to criticize movements that are not in perfect harmony with their methods of labor. Let them never suppose that every plan should reflect their own personality. Let them not fear to trust another's methods; for by withholding their confidence from a brother laborer who, with humility and consecrated zeal, is doing a special work in God's appointed way, they are retarding the advancement of the Lord's cause.” {9T 259.1}

Education

One of the idols of Adventists is education. Not that education is bad, but because of the way it is used and abused by Adventists. They use it as a pretext for judging who is and who is not qualified to teach them. This truth is often exhibited when one gives a message to the people. The immediate question is not IS IT TRUTH! Their first questions is often: Who is its advocate? Who did the message come from? Then, when this is determined, many will try to find flaws in the messenger, which is not difficult to do because God chooses vessels who are weak and erring.

God can and will use those who have not had a thorough education in the schools of men. A doubt of His power to do this is manifest unbelief; it is limiting the omnipotent power of the One with whom nothing is impossible. Oh, for less of this uncalled-for, distrustful caution! It leaves so many forces of the church unused; it closes up the way so that the Holy Spirit cannot use men; it keeps in idleness those who are willing and anxious to labor in Christ's lines; it discourages from entering the work many who would become efficient laborers together with God if they were given a fair chance.” {9T 259.2}

Grace Defined

They must have His grace, the Spirit of Christ, to help their infirmities, or they cannot form a Christian character. Jesus loves to have us come to Him, just as we are—sinful, helpless, dependent.” Faith and Works, p. 38.

There must be a power working from within, a new life from above, before man can be changed from sin to holiness. That power is Christ. His grace [the Spirit of Christ] alone can quicken the lifeless faculties of the soul, and attract it to God, to holiness.” (ST, May 28, 1902, par. 3).

The plants and flowers grow not by their own care or anxiety or effort, but by receiving that which God has furnished to minister to their life. The child cannot, by any anxiety or power of its own, add to its stature. No more can you, by anxiety or effort of yourself, secure spiritual growth.” Steps to Christ, p. 67.

Our Dispositions Unchanged

     If you would be a saint in heaven you must first be a saint on earth. The traits of character you cherish in life will not be changed by death or by the resurrection. You will come up from the grave with the same disposition you manifested in your home and in society. Jesus does not change the character at His coming. The work of transformation must be done now. Our daily lives are determining our destiny. Defects of character must be repented of and overcome through the grace of Christ, and a symmetrical character must be formed while in this probationary state, that we may be fitted for the mansions above.--13MR 82 (1891).  {LDE 295.1}

The Glory that the Father gave to Christ is given to us: “Jesus is waiting to breathe upon all his disciples, and give them the inspiration of his sanctifying spirit, and transfuse the vital influence from himself to his people . . . Christ is to live in his human agents, and work through their faculties, and act through their capabilities. Their will must be submitted to His will, they must act with His Spirit, that it may be no more they that live, but Christ that liveth in them. Jesus is seeking to impress upon them the thought that in giving His Holy Spirit He is giving to them the glory which the Father has given Him, that He and His people may be one in God.” Signs of the Times, October 3, 1892, par. 4.

Christ gives them the breath of His own Spirit, the life of His own Life.” Desire of Ages, p. 827, par. 3.

The Holy Spirit is the breath of life in the soul. The impartation of the Spirit is the impartation of the life of Christ. It imbues the receiver with the attributes of Christ.” Desire of Ages, p. 805.

They have one God and one Saviour; and one Spirit—the Spirit of Christ—is to bring unity into their ranks.” Testimonies, Vol. 9, p. 189.

Our Security: “Christ has made every provision for us to be strong. He has given us His Holy Spirit, whose office is to bring to our remembrance all the promises that Christ has made, that we may have peace and a sweet sense of forgiveness. If we will but keep our eyes fixed on the Saviour and trust in His power, we shall be filled with a sense of security; for the righteousness of Christ will become our righteousness.” My Life Today, p. 45.

"Christ has plainly taught that those who persist in open sin must be separated from the church..."  Christ's Object Lessons, 71.

It is interesting that the Pope of Rome is always stressing unity as well. Unity is a good thing when it is over truth, but Ellen White said war is better than compromise of the truth. SDA leaders stress unity at the expense of all--even the truth! Jesus stressed unity, but He and His disciples separated from the apostate church of the day.

"To secure peace and unity they were ready to make any concession consistent with fidelity to God but they felt that even peace would be too dearly purchased at the sacrifice of principle. If unity could be secured only by the compromise of truth and righteousness, then let there be difference, and even war." (Great Controversy, p. 45).

"Christ calls for unity. But He does not call for us to unify on wrong practices. The God of heaven draws a sharp contrast between pure, elevating, ennobling truth and false, misleading doctrines." 1SM 175.

"The world must not be introduced into the church, and married to the church, forming a bond of unity. Through this means the church will become indeed corrupt, and as stated in Revelation, 'a cage of every unclean and hateful bird. [language Rev. 18:2 uses to define BABYLON]'" Testimonies to Ministers, p. 265.

     “No superiority of rank, dignity, or worldly wisdom, no position in sacred office, will preserve men from sacrificing principle when left to their own deceitful hearts. Those who have been regarded as worthy and righteous prove to be ring-leaders in apostasy and examples in indifference and in the abuse of God's mercies. Their wicked course He will tolerate no longer, and in His wrath He deals with them without mercy.” {5T 212.1}

     “It is with reluctance that the Lord withdraws His presence from those who have been blessed with great light and who have felt the power of the word in ministering to others. They were once His faithful servants, favored with His presence and guidance; but they departed from Him and led others into error, and therefore are brought under the divine displeasure.” {5T 212.2}

"Sins exist in the church that God hates, but they are scarcely touched for fear of making enemies. Opposition has risen in the church to the plain testimony. Some will not bear it. They wish smooth things spoken unto them. And if the wrongs of individuals are touched, they complain of severity, and sympathize with those in the wrong." SG, Vol. 2,  283.

"God calls for men of decided fidelity. He has no use in an emergency for two-sided men. He wants men who will lay their hand upon a wrong work and say, 'This is not according to the will of God.'" 2SM 152, 153.

"Jesus prayed that his followers might be one; but we are not to sacrifice the truth in order to secure this union, for we are to be sanctified through the truth.... Men would try to effect unity through concession to popular opinion, through compromise with the world, a sacrifice of vital godliness. But truth is God's basis for the unity of his people." 2RH 560

"To secure peace and unity they were ready to make any concession consistent with fidelity to God but they felt that even peace would be too dearly purchased at the sacrifice of principle. If unity could be secured only by the compromise of truth and righteousness, then let there be difference, and even war" (Great Controversy, p. 45).

"While others try to throw a cloak over the existing evil, and excuse the great wickedness everywhere prevalent, those who have a zeal for God's honor and a love for souls will not hold their peace to obtain favor of any. Their righteous souls are vexed day by day with the unholy works and conversation of the unrighteous. They are powerless to stop the rushing torrent of iniquity, and hence they are filled with grief and alarm. They mourn before God to see religion despised in the very homes of those who have had great light. They lament and afflict their souls because pride, avarice, selfishness, and deception of almost every kind are in the church. The Spirit of God, which prompts to reproof, is trampled underfoot, while the servants of Satan triumph. God is dishonored, the truth made of none effect" (Testimonies, Vol. 5, pp. 210, 211).

"The same disobedience and failure which were seen in the Jewish church have characterized in a greater degree the people who have had this great light from heaven in the last messages of warning" (Testimonies, Vol. 5, p. 456).

"Confederacies will increase in number and power as we draw nearer to the end of time. These confederacies will create opposing influences to the truth, forming new parties of professed believers who will act out their own delusive theories. The apostasy will increase. 'Some shall depart from the faith, giving heed to seducing spirits, and doctrines of devils.' Men and women have confederated to oppose the Lord God of heaven, and the church is only half awake to the situation. There needs to be much more prayer, much more of earnest effort, among professed believers." --Review and Herald, Aug. 5, 1909, (Evangelism p. 363)

All of the above are the reason why the omega of apostasy, new movement, new organization, that has “removed God,” (1SM 204-205), is not rained upon any longer with the Holy Spirit at the end-time. Most of the membership and leaders of that new movement have rejected the counsel of Ellen G. White, which is actually the counsel of the Holy Spirit to that church.

Christ was a protestant. He protested against the formal worship of the Jewish nation, who rejected the counsel of God against themselves. He told them that they taught for doctrines the commandments of men, and that they were pretenders and hypocrites. Like whited sepulchers they were beautiful without, but within full of impurity and corruption. The Reformers date back to Christ and the apostles. They came out and separated themselves from a religion of forms and ceremonies. Luther and his followers did not invent the reformed religion. They simply accepted it as presented by Christ and the apostles. The Bible is presented to us as a sufficient guide; but the pope and his workers remove it from the people as if it were a curse, because it exposes their pretensions and rebukes their idolatry.”  {RH, June 1, 1886 par. 14}

When a corporate church engages apostasy and will not put it away and out of the camp, the faithful must leave or be corporately responsible. This is the reason Christ and His disciples left. This is why Paul left. This is why Protestants left Rome. This is why Adventists left the other churches in 1844, when they would not tolerate light.

Jesus and His Disciples Separated From the Apostate Church of Their Day

"Christ was a protestant...The Reformers date back to Christ and the apostles. They came out and separated themselves from a religion of forms and ceremonies. Luther and his followers did not invent the reformed religion. They simply accepted it as presented by Christ and the apostles." E.G. White, Review and Herald, vol. 2, 48, col. 2.

Paul left

And he went into the synagogue, and spake boldly for the space of three months, disputing and persuading the things concerning the kingdom of God.  9But when divers were hardened, and believed not, but spake evil of that way before the multitude, he departed from them, and separated the disciples, disputing daily in the school of one Tyrannus.” Acts 19:8, 9.

Fearing that the faith of the believers would be endangered by continued association with these opposers of the truth, Paul separated from them, and gathered the disciples into a distinct body.” E.G. White, Acts of the Apostles, p. 285, 286.

"The recreant priests added licentiousness to the dark catalogue of their crimes yet they still polluted by their presence the tabernacle of the Lord, and, laden with sin, dared to come into the presence of a holy God. As the men of Israel witnessed the corrupt course of the priests, they thought it safer for their families not to come up to the appointed place of worship. Many went from Shiloh with their peace disturbed, their indignation aroused, until they at last determined to offer their sacrifices themselves, concluding that this would be fully as acceptable to God, as to sanction in any manner the abominations practiced in the Sanctuary." E.G. White, The Signs of the Times, vol. 1, p. 264, col. 3, December 1, 1881.

 "The Sanhedrin had rejected Christ's message and was bent upon His death therefore Jesus departed from Jerusalem, from the priests, the temple, the religious leaders, the people who had been instructed in the law, and turned to another class to proclaim His message, and to gather out those who should carry the gospel to all nations.

As the light and life of men was rejected by the ecclesiastical authorities in the days of Christ, so it has been rejected in every succeeding generation. Again and again the history of Christ's withdrawal from Judea has been repeated. When the Reformers preached the word of God, they had no thought of separating themselves from the established church but the religious leaders would not tolerate the light, and those that bore it were forced to seek another class, who were longing for the truth. In our day few of the professed followers of the Reformers are actuated by their spirit. Few are listening for the voice of God, and ready to accept truth in whatever guise it may be presented. Often those who follow in the steps of the Reformers are forced to turn away from the churches they love, in order to declare the plain teaching of the word of God. And many times those who are seeking for light are by the same teaching obliged to leave the church of their fathers, that they may render obedience." E.G. White, Desire of Ages, 232.

Why have true reformers IN EVERY SUCCEEDING GENERATION separated themselves from the established church of their fathers? What is the ONE REASON given? Because the religious leaders would not tolerate the light! Do your leaders tolerate light? Mine do not!

"Even though you may not be able to speak a word to those who are working on wrong principles, leave them. Your withdrawal and silence may do more than words. Nehemiah refused to associate with those who were untrue to principle, and he would not permit his workmen to associate with them. The love and fear of God were his safeguard-Dare to be a Daniel, Dare to stand alone. Thus as did Moses, you will endure the seeing of Him who is invisible. But a cowardly and silent reserve before evil associates, while you listen to their devices makes you one with them. Come out from among them and be separate, saith the Lord, and touch not the unclean thing; and I will receive you, and will be a Father unto you, and ye shall be my sons and daughters, saith the Lord Almighty." Review & Herald Vol. 4, p. 42.

All of the above are reasons why God’s promises are NOT fulfilled to His people per the following Ellen G. White prophesy on the fate of the once SDA church militant.

PROLEPSIS STATEMENT:

Here is the Spirit of Prophecy prophesied prolepsis statement regarding the final fate of that once Noble Ship. This is a major LYNCHPIN to my warning message. Can you explain it away? Are you a passenger on this once NOBLE SHIP, that is about to sink to rise no more?

NOTICE WHO SEPARATES FROM WHOM:

"Jesus sends HIS PEOPLE a message of warning to prepare them for his coming. To the prophet John was made known the closing work in the great plan of man's redemption. He beheld an angel flying 'in the midst of heaven, having the everlasting gospel to preach unto them that dwell on the earth, and to every nation, and kindred, and tongue, and people, saying with a loud voice, Fear God, and give glory to him for the hour of his Judgment is come and worship him that made heaven, and earth, and the sea, and the fountains of waters [Rev. 14:6, 7.].

The angel represented in prophecy as delivering this message,  symbolizes a class of faithful men, who, obedient to the promptings of God's Spirit and the teachings of his word, proclaim this warning to the inhabitants of earth. This message was not to be committed to the religious leaders of the people. They had failed to preserve their connection with God, and had REFUSED THE LIGHT FROM HEAVEN therefore they WERE NOT of the number described by the apostle Paul: 'But ye, brethren, are not in darkness, that that day should overtake you as a thief. Ye are all the children of light, and the children of the day we are not of the night nor of darkness' [1 Thess. 5:4, 5].

The watchmen upon the walls of Zion should be the first to catch the tidings of the Saviour's advent, the first to lift their voices to proclaim him near, the first to warn the people to prepare for his coming. But they were at ease, dreaming of peace and safety, while the people were asleep in their sins. Jesus saw HIS CHURCH, like the barren fig-tree, covered with pretentious leaves, yet destitute of precious fruit. There was a boastful observance of the forms of religion, while the spirit of true humility, penitence and faith--which alone could render the service acceptable to God--was lacking. Instead of the graces of the Spirit, there were manifested pride, formalism, vainglory, selfishness, oppression. A BACKSLIDING CHURCH closed their eyes to the signs of the times. God did not forsake them, or suffer his faithfulness to fail but they departed from him, and SEPARATED THEMSELVES from his love. As they REFUSED TO COMPLY WITH THE CONDITIONS, his promises were NOT FULFILLED to them."  E.G. White, The Spirit of Prophecy, Vol. 4, pp. 199-200 [The 1884 edition of The Great Controversy, 199, 200].

Note these important delineations in the above statement:

·      Ellen White is addressing HIS PEOPLE.

·      Ellen White is addressing those to whom God committed the EVERLASTING GOSPEL of Revelation 14.

·       Ellen White is defining the angel represented in prophecy as symbolizing a class of faithful men.

·       Ellen White is saying emphatically that the final Loud Cry message is delivered NOT BY THE LEADERS OF THE SDA CHURCH, but by a class of faithful men, because the leaders had failed to preserve their connection with God and had refused light from heaven!

·       Ellen White is addressing "watchmen upon the walls of Zion," NOT FALLEN BABYLON!

·       It is the MEMBERS of said church that SEPARATE FROM GOD, AND THAT IS WHY WE HAVE TO SEPARATE FROM THEM OR BE CORPORATELY RESPONSIBLE FOR THEIR APOSTASY.

·       And twice Ellen White mentions HIS CHURCH, NOT FALLEN BABYLON.

Ellen White is addressing a BACKSLIDING CHURCH whose leaders and laity alike failed and rejected light from heaven and who refused to comply with the conditions so that God's promises are not fulfilled to them.

The Holy Spirit impressed me to add this daily devotional reading for the encouragement of the true reformer saints who are now receiving draughts from the Holy Spirit on an individual basis in their home churches the world over:

This Day With God, Page 226

Covered by Christ’s Righteousness, August 5

And be found in him, not having mine own righteousness, which is of the law, but that which is through the faith of Christ, the righteousness which is of God by faith. Philippians 3:9.

Joshua, standing before the angel of the Lord with defiled garments, represents those whose religious life has been faulty, who have been overcome by Satan’s temptations, and are unworthy of God’s favor. Today human beings stand before God with defiled garments. All their righteousness is “as filthy rags” (Isaiah 64:6). Satan uses against them his masterly accusing power, pointing to their imperfections as evidence of their weakness. He points scornfully at the mistakes of those who claim to be doing God service. They have been deceived by him, and he begs for permission to destroy them.

But they trust in Christ, and Christ will not forsake them. He came to this world to take away their sins, and to impute to them His righteousness. He declares that through faith in His name they may receive forgiveness, and perfect Christlike characters. They have confessed their sins to Him, and have asked for pardon, and Christ declares that because they look to and believe on Him, He will give them power to become sons of God.

Their characters are defective, but because they have not trusted in their own merits and excused their sins, because they have asked for forgiveness through the merits of Christ, the Lord receives them, and rebukes Satan. Because they have humbled themselves, confessing their sins, He refuses to listen to the enemy’s accusations. He has abundantly pardoned the penitent ones, and will carry forward in them His work of redeeming love if they will continue to believe in Him and to trust Him.

Those who, by divine grace, have gained the mastery over their faults, are to teach others how to overcome, pointing them to the Source of strength. To every converted soul is given the privilege of helping those around him who do not rejoice in the light in which he is standing. They also may know the joy that has come to him. “As many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name” (John 1:12). They may take their place in the world as God’s light bearers.—Letter 173, August 5, 1903, to “My Dear Brethren

The RAW POWER given to those who receive Christ and His prophets, is the power of the Holy Spirit, the soul of the life of Christ, indwelling those who accept His invitation to partake of His Divine Nature Holy Spirit.

Those who would overcome must put to the tax every power of their being. They must agonize on their knees before God for divine power. Christ came to be our example, and to make known to us that we may be partakers of the divine nature. How?—By having escaped the corruptions that are in the world through lust. Satan did not gain the victory over Christ. He did not put his foot upon the soul of the Redeemer. He did not touch the head though he bruised the heel. Christ, by His own example, made it evident that man may stand in integrity. Men may have a power to resist evil—a power that neither earth, nor death, nor hell can master; a power that will place them where they may overcome as Christ overcame. Divinity and humanity may be combined in them.” {1SM 409.1}

It was the work of Christ to present the truth in the framework of the gospel, and to reveal the precepts and principles that He had given to fallen man. Every idea He presented was His own. He needed not to borrow thoughts from any, for He was the originator of all truth. He could present the ideas of prophets and philosophers, and preserve His originality; for all wisdom was His; He was the source, the fountain, of all truth. He was in advance of all, and by His teaching He became the spiritual leader for all ages.” {1SM 409.2}

It was Christ that spoke through Melchizedek, the priest of the most high God. Melchizedek was not Christ, but he was the voice of God in the world, the representative of the Father. And all through the generations of the past, Christ has spoken; Christ has led His people, and has been the light of the world. When God chose Abraham as a representative of His truth, He took him out of his country, and away from his kindred, and set him apart. He desired to mold him after His own model. He desired to teach him according to His own plan. The mold of the world’s teachers was not to be upon him. He was to be taught how to command his children and his household after him, to keep the way of the Lord, to do justice and judgment. This is the work that God would have us do. He would have us understand how to govern our families, how to control our children, how to command our households to keep the way of the Lord.” {1SM 409.3}

There will be some terrible falls by those who think they stand firm because they have the truth; but they have it not as it is in Jesus. A moment’s carelessness may plunge a soul into irretrievable ruin. One sin leads to the second, and the second prepares the way for a third and so on. We must as faithful messengers of God, plead with Him constantly to be kept by his power. If we swerve a single inch from duty we are in danger of following on in a course of sin that ends in perdition. There is hope for every one of us, but only in one way—by fastening ourselves to Christ, and exerting every energy to attain to the perfection of his character.” {3SM 154.3}

This goody-goody religion that makes light of sin and that is forever dwelling upon the love of God to the sinner, encourages the sinner to believe that God will save him while he continues in sin and he knows it to be sin. This is the way that many are doing who profess to believe present truth. The truth is kept apart from their life, and that is the reason it has no more power to convict and convert the soul. There must be a straining of every nerve and spirit and muscle to leave the world, its customs, its practices, and its fashions....” {3SM 155.1}

If you put away sin and exercise living faith, the riches of heaven’s blessings will be yours.” —Letter 53, 1887. {3SM 155.2}

The professing SDA church will go on praying for the outpouring of the Holy Spirit, but God’s Word says that it WILL NOT be forthcoming. Individuals comprising the 144,000, as the bride of Christ, will receive the Holy Spirit and will give the final Loud Cry to the world, Christ’s Object Lessons, pp. 405-405.

In the name of the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob,

Dear Brother Rob,

A few important things I failed to include were, that after the pastor first approached us and said that he will defend his faith, he also said that his loyalty is to the organization. Right after he said that, I responded in a calm manner as not to provoke him and said that my loyalty was only to God, stressing the word only. I was hoping to hear something back from him on that comment, but I did not.

During his conversation with us he made the exact same remark at least three more times, that his loyalty is to the organization. I do realize that he also made that remark while talking about his family and how faithful to the Adventist faith they were, but at other times also. That remark would break my heart every time, because not once did he say, that his loyalty is to God.

Now, I am not saying that he does not love God, and only God knows why he felt compelled to tell us that so many times, but both myself and Ariana felt that to be very odd. Our conversation consisted of us answering some of his questions such as where we go to church and our background. He told me that he was a fourth generation Seventh Day Adventist, and wanted to know about us.

I told him that I was third on my mother's side, and that many years past, I had a desire to learn more about my faith and how I started reading a lot of the SOP books, and my faith was strengthened by that. I did not tell him the following, but my father was an Evangelical that loved the Lord very much. He however never accepted the Sabbath, as he believed that it was done away with, at the cross.

I would also like to say something about the elderly member. He came and emphatically told me that he believed unity was a good thing, and turned around and walked back. I could have said Brother, and called him back for a discussion on that, but seeing that he had made up his mind and there were many other members I had not talked to, I chose to allow the Holy Spirit to further work on his heart. Further pressing on that issue quickly would only have done harm.

My incident also of not remembering what was discussed with the two ladies was also odd. The presentation I gave them was convincing, but right after I was done I remember exclaiming. What did I just say to them? I could not recall, I also tried a little later.

Blessings,

Xanthie

Wow! Praise the Lord for the opportunity to speak to a pastor willing to listen! Not many pastors are like this individual. I pray for him and the members of his congregation that the Holy Spirit will convict their hearts and they will respond the correct way to the Ezekiel 9 message.

All blessings to you and yours

Dear Forum,

We are happy to report that last Sabbath we were able to give out the articles and talk to the members freely. The pastor was at times at the front of the church talking to the members or moving about and keeping busy. We were very visible as we each could not stay stationed in one place, due to the members leaving in different directions.

All the streets were busy so we parked at the end of the block. We decided to scout the area and see what would be the best place to pass out the articles, as the church did not have it's own parking lot. We walked around and saw that there was a large shared parking lot, and we decided that it would not be best to give the articles in our usual way.

We waited until a few members came out and then we each took different corners of the street, Brittany was closer to me because it was the busier side of the street. We were both giving articles out when I approached two friendly ladies and started talking to them. I do not remember now what I said to them, and even then I could not remember what I said to them so that I could write it down.

The only things that I can remember telling them is that they are not going to hear this message from their leaders, and I gave Sister White's advice that when a new message comes to our attention it is our duty to investigate it with the aid of the Holy Spirit. I also brought up Ellen White's statement that from the pulpits they will be asking them to keep Sunday Holy. One lady said, I don't believe that, but later she said that she will read the article though. At one point the pastor came up to the members and greeted them, but he did not interact with me.

While I was talking to these two members, Brittany and Ariana continued giving articles out as the members were passing by. After I finished talking with the ladies, the rest of the members had gone to potluck. We then decided to go back to the car to drink some water. We are out in the sun and we make sure to stay hydrated. Right after that, we went back to the church, and we saw an older member passing out some church pamphlets and we approached him.

I gave him our article as he had not received one, and offered to explain it to him. He nodded his head yes, so I slowly went over the article with him. He was also reading the article for himself as I was explaining it to him. There were breaks in my explanation as he reviewed it.

After each statement I asked him if he had any questions before I would proceed. He indicated that he did not. I continued giving him time in between to read over the statement on his own as that is how it seemed that he felt most comfortable doing. He was able to stay until half way through the article. I also read him a few statements from the SOP and brought up the church's ecumenical association with unbelievers and the Biblical statements against it.

We had been standing out there for a while and he thanked me and then slowly started walking back toward the church. The girls and myself later saw him talking to the pastor and handing him the article. The pastor took the article and quickly left. At some point the member came to me and said that unity was a good thing and that there was nothing wrong with that. He only came to voice his opinion on that issue, and then started walking back. He was not interested in staying to hear mine, and I did not force my opinion on him by chasing after him.

Brittany gave an article to two members and the lady started reading it and without having finished the sentence exclaimed loudly. No one will be saved? Really? No one in the world will be saved? Why is that? I was next to Brittany and I chose to join in, and by that time she had realized that she had not finished reading the entire sentence.

When she finished reading it, she asked, I thought that we were saved by grace not by the law? I replied, yes you are correct that we are saved by grace, but the Bible in Romans chapter 2 and 3 spells out our duty for obedience to the law. The female member continued by saying, I thought we were just saved by grace only. The gentleman then came into the conversation and firmly told her that she is wrong, and how essential for our salvation it is to keep all His commandments. The gentleman said, that he was interested in knowing more about the article.

I asked them if they had heard of the Ezekiel 9 prophecy and they had not. I gave an introduction about it and stressed that it was a serious warning message and a twofold prophecy that while foreshadowing the destruction of Jerusalem it also prefigures the terrors in the last days. I then explained what happened with the Jews and for what reason. The gentleman was quite polite and appeared very interested.

I offered to explain the entire article in detail to them, but they said that a car was waiting to pick them up and unfortunately they could not stay. What the male member did tell me though was that he is very interested in the material, and that he was looking forward to reading it.

I gave the article to two other members as they were going back into the church and gave a short explanation on Ez 9 and stressed that it was a serious warning message. One of the members was interested, the other member did not show interest. The member that was interested gave me his email and asked me to send him whatever information I have on end time. I told him that I will, and also told him that if he goes to the website he will find a lot of information on end time issues.

We continued to give articles after the potluck, and as no more members were coming out, and we had given articles to some that went back in we were getting ready to go, then the pastor approached us. He said to us that he allowed us to give out the articles because of freedom of choice and that is what this land was founded on but we can not indoctrinate others as they might not want that, and that is their freedom. I responded yes, Pastor I appreciate that you allowed us to pass this article out, and in the Spirit of Christ we do not try to force beliefs on anyone.

He thanked us for that, but then he said that if we went to do that to the Catholic church, it would defend their beliefs, and even kill for their beliefs. He followed that by saying that likewise we will defend our religious beliefs and our faith in whatever means necessary. I then said but I hope that you won't kill for your beliefs, in a not so serious way. He smiled and eased up a little.

He then went on to explain his reasons for becoming a pastor, he was very friendly, he went into a few subjects. We decided that we would not try to engage at all, but we remained for a while as it seemed impolite to leave although I had tried politely to end our conversation.

We were surprised that there were still a few members left , and I asked him if it would be OK to pass out the articles and he happily said yes, and the girls went to pass out more articles. Apparently there was a meeting that he was supposed to be in and starting soon and some deacons were calling him in, but he waved them off and stayed and talked to us for a few minutes more.

He really wanted to talk to us more, he even invited us in for a debate and commented that we certainly carry our selves in a honorable way, and also commented on how we dress according to the Biblical guidelines. We again thanked him for allowing us the opportunity to give the articles out and left.

Thank you again for your prayers and Happy Sabbath to all,

Xanthie
