Jhn 17:3   And this is life eternal, that they might know thee the only true God, and Jesus Christ, whom thou hast sent.

Prophecy must be fulfilled. The Lord says: “Behold, I will send you Elijah the prophet before the coming of the great and dreadful day of the Lord.” Somebody is to come in the spirit and power of Elijah, and when he appears, men may say: “You are too earnest, you do not interpret the Scriptures in the proper way. Let me tell you how to teach your message.” Testimonies to Ministers, p. 475.

Men (plural) will go forth in the spirit and power of Elijah to prepare the way for the second advent of the Lord Jesus Christ. It is their work to make crooked things straight. Some things must be torn down, some things must be built up. The old treasures must be reset in a framework of truth. They are to preach God's Word; their testimony must not be molded by the opinions and ideas that have been regarded as sound, but by the Word of God, which liveth and abideth forever.” [1888 Mtl. p. 169 para. 01] p. 506, Para. 3, [1888MS].

This series is on a vision I received on Friday, January 5, 2018, on the Elijah Message to God’s people. Though somebody is to come in the spirit and power of Elijah, men of God in the persons of the 144,000 saints, will go forth in the spirit and power of Elijah to prepare the way for the second advent of the Lord Jesus Christ. It is their work to make crooked things straight. Some things must be torn down, some thing must be built up. The old treasures must be reset in a framework of truth. They are to preach God's Word; their testimony must not be molded by the opinions and ideas that have been regarded as sound, but by the Word of God, which liveth and abideth forever.

The first work that the Elijah messengers will do by way of preparing the way before the Lord, will be as messengers of the Everlasting Covenant, which they delight in. The first work of the Son of God in providing a remedy from sin, involved His Everlasting Covenant, and the fact that He must die in order to atone for any breach in that Covenant (Testament) made by man. The first thing those who go forth in the spirit and power of Elijah will do, is to set straight in a framework of truth, the role of our Redeemer in the Godhead, and the unfathomable love demonstrated by God toward man, in His volunteered act as Testator of the Everlasting Testament (Covenant), His last Will and Testament if you will.

Heb 9:16 For where a testament is, there must also of necessity be the death of the testator.

Heb 9:17 For a testament is of force after men are dead: otherwise it is of no strength at all while the testator liveth.

Mal 3:1   Behold, I will send my messenger, and he shall prepare the way before me: and the Lord, whom ye seek, shall suddenly come to his temple, even the messenger of the covenant, whom ye delight in: behold, he shall come, saith the LORD of hosts.

Mal 3:2   But who may abide the day of his coming? and who shall stand when he appeareth? for he is like a refiner's fire, and like fullers' soap:

Mal 3:3   And he shall sit as a refiner and purifier of silver: and he shall purify the sons of Levi, and purge them as gold and silver, that they may offer unto the LORD an offering in righteousness.

Mal 3:4   Then shall the offering of Judah and Jerusalem be pleasant unto the LORD, as in the days of old, and as in former years.

Mal 3:5   And I will come near to you to judgment; and I will be a swift witness against the sorcerers, and against the adulterers, and against false swearers, and against those that oppress the hireling in his wages, the widow, and the fatherless, and that turn aside the stranger from his right, and fear not me, saith the LORD of hosts.

Mal 3:6   For I am the LORD, I change not; therefore ye sons of Jacob are not consumed.

Mal 3:7   Even from the days of your fathers ye are gone away from mine ordinances, and have not kept them. Return unto me, and I will return unto you, saith the LORD of hosts. But ye said, Wherein shall we return?

Mal 3:8   Will a man rob God? Yet ye have robbed me. But ye say, Wherein have we robbed thee? In tithes and offerings.

Mal 3:9   Ye are cursed with a curse: for ye have robbed me, even this whole nation.

Mal 3:10   Bring ye all the tithes into the storehouse, that there may be meat in mine house, and prove me now herewith, saith the LORD of hosts, if I will not open you the windows of heaven, and pour you out a blessing, that there shall not be room enough to receive it.

Mal 3:11   And I will rebuke the devourer for your sakes, and he shall not destroy the fruits of your ground; neither shall your vine cast her fruit before the time in the field, saith the LORD of hosts.

Mal 3:12   And all nations shall call you blessed: for ye shall be a delightsome land, saith the LORD of hosts.  [Compare with Isaiah 62:1-5)

Mal 3:13   Your words have been stout against me, saith the LORD. Yet ye say, What have we spoken so much against thee?  [eg. The errant teachings on the human nature of Christ and the Godhead.

Mal 3:14   Ye have said, It is vain to serve God: and what profit is it that we have kept his ordinance, and that we have walked mournfully before the LORD of hosts?  [Compare 5T 211.

Mal 3:15   And now we call the proud happy; yea, they that work wickedness are set up; yea, they that tempt God are even delivered.

Mal 3:16   Then they that feared the LORD spake often one to another: and the LORD hearkened, and heard it, and a book of remembrance was written before him for them that feared the LORD, and that thought upon his name.

Mal 3:17   And they shall be mine, saith the LORD of hosts, in that day when I make up my jewels; and I will spare them, as a man spareth his own son that serveth him.

Mal 3:18   Then shall ye return, and discern between the righteous and the wicked, between him that serveth God and him that serveth him not.

The worst travesty, the worst abomination in all of Christendom, is Satan’s most successful act of rendering the Testator’s sacrifice as though it never occurred. Satan achieved this abomination of all abominations in the formation of man’s concept of the Godhead, via the Trinity Doctrine, By the teaching of that insidious doctrine, which was adopted by the professing Seventh-day Adventist church at its General Conference World Session in 1980, the highest good, crowing sacrifice of the Son of God, is rendered null and void, as though it never occurred. The first work of Elijah in making all things straight, is to correct this most evil of all Satan’s deceptions.

If Satan can successfully get man to confess a teaching that totally annihilates the heavenly Sanctuary Atonement sacrifice, without man even understanding what they have done, that is the most masterful deception he could perpetrate upon mankind as far as the Testators Covenant, God’s Everlasting Covenant is concerned.

At first, Satan was not successful in getting Seventh-day Adventists to believe this masterful deception. The pioneers never subscribed to the Trinity abomination. Current SDA leaders admit to this fact:

"Most of the founders of Seventh-day Adventism would not be able to join the church today if they had to subscribe to the denomination's Fundamental Beliefs. More specifically, most would not be able to agree to belief number 2, which deals with the doctrine of the Trinity." George Knight, Ministry, October 1993, p. 10.

"Adventist beliefs have changed over the years under the impact of 'present truth'. Most startling is the teaching regarding Jesus Christ, our Saviour and Lord…the Trinitarian understanding of God, now part of our fundamental beliefs, was not generally held by the early Adventists." William G. Johnsson, Adventist Review, Jan 6, 1994, p. 10.

This is evidenced by the 1874 statement of faith published in the June 4 issue of the Signs of the Times:

1. That there is one God, a personal, spiritual Being, the Creator of all things, omnipotent, omniscient, and eternal; infinite in wisdom, holiness, justice, goodness, truth and mercy; unchangeable, and everywhere present by His representative, the Holy Spirit. Psalm 139:7. [Where can I go from Thy spirit? or where can I flee from Thy presence?]

2. That there is one Lord Jesus Christ, the Son of the Eternal Father, the One by whom God created all things, and by whom they do consist…"

Compare this (above) with today's 28 Fundamental Beliefs of the Seventh-day Adventist Church number 2:

"There is one God: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit, a unity of three co-eternal Persons."

The great error involved in the Trinity Doctrine is the teaching that there are THREE CO-ETERNAL PERSONS. There are indeed THREE PERSONS, but there are not three co-eternal persons. Before the Incarnation Atonement Sacrifice, there were only two eternal persons to the Godhead, the Father and the Son. Until the Incarnation of the Son of God, there was NO HUMAN ELEMENT to the Godhead. But the Father adopted the humanity of His Son into the Godhead AFTER HIS INCARNATION, to wit:

He is our sacrifice, our Advocate, our Brother, bearing our human form before the Father's throne, and through eternal ages one with the race He has redeemed--the Son of Man.” Heaven, p. 73.

The above statement proves that in referring to three eternal dignitaries, Ellen White means Christ bears our human form before the Father’s throne through the eternal ages.

God has adopted human nature in the person of His Son, and has carried the same into the highest heaven. Heaven,” p. 72.

"By His life and His death, Christ has achieved even more than recovery from the ruin wrought through sin. It was Satan's purpose to bring about an eternal separation between God and man but in Christ we become more closely united to God than if we had never fallen. In taking our nature, the Saviour has bound himself to humanity by a tie that is never to be broken. Through the eternal ages He is linked with us. 'God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son.' [John 3:16]. He gave Him not only to bear our sins, and to die as our sacrifice He gave Him to the fallen race. To assure us of His immutable counsel of peace, God gave His only Begotten Son to become one of the human family forever to retain His human nature. This is the pledge that God will fulfill His word. 'Unto us a child is born unto us a son is given and the government shall be upon His shoulder.' God has adopted human nature in the person of His Son, and has carried the same into the highest heaven. It is the 'Son of man' who shares the throne of the universe. It is the 'Son of man' whose name shall be called, 'Wonderful, Counselor, the mighty God, the everlasting Father, the prince of Peace.' [Isa. 9:6]. The I Am is the Daysman between God and humanity, laying His hand upon both. HE who is 'holy, harmless, undefiled, separate from sinners,' is not ashamed to call us brethren. [Heb. 7:26 2:11.] In Christ the family of earth and the family of heaven are bound together. Christ glorified is our brother. Heaven is enshrined in humanity, and humanity is enfolded in the bosom of Infinite love." The Desire of Ages, 25.

The Godhead Before the Incarnation Sacrifice by Way of the Death of the Testator

Before the Incarnation of the Son of God, there were only two persons to the Godhead, the Father and the Son. They both shared the same one eternal essence, substance, SPIRIT. Scripture plainly teaches that there is ONE SPIRIT, and it is that ONE SPIRIT that constitutes the Godhead as ONE GOD.

The Bible says that God is a Spirit and that there is ONE ETERNAL SPIRIT. Notice:

God is a Spirit: and they that worship him must worship him in spirit and in truth.” John 4:24.

How many Spirits are there to the Godhead? Where the Bible mentions THE SPIRIT, only ONE SPIRIT is meant.

1Co 6:17 But he that is joined unto the Lord is one spirit.

1Co 12:13 For by one Spirit are we all baptized into one body, whether we be Jews or Gentiles, whether we be bond or free; and have been all made to drink into one Spirit.

Eph 2:18 For through him we both have access by one Spirit unto the Father.

1Pe 1:22 Seeing ye have purified your souls in obeying the truth through the Spirit unto unfeigned love of the brethren, see that ye love one another with a pure heart fervently:

1Jo 5:8 And there are three that bear witness in earth, the Spirit, and the water, and the blood: and these three agree in one.

Rev 4:2 And immediately I was in the spirit: and, behold, a throne was set in heaven, and one sat on the throne.

1Co 12:8 For to one is given by the Spirit the word of wisdom; to another the word of knowledge by the same Spirit;

1Co 12:11 But all these worketh that one and the selfsame Spirit, dividing to every man severally as he will.

Heb 9:14 How much more shall the blood of Christ, who through the eternal Spirit offered himself without spot to God, purge your conscience from dead works to serve the living God?

All man knows about the NATURE of God, is that He is a Spirit, ONE SPIRIT. That is His essence, substance. That is all we know of His NATURE. But we know much more about His personality and the sacrifice of God’s Son, the Testator of the Everlasting Testament (Covenant).

Some believe that the Holy Spirit was a distinct THIRD PERSON before the Incarnation. That could not be so because it was at the Incarnation that the Son’s Divine Nature Holy Spirit HIMSELF was EMPTIED, DIVESTED from the person of His humanity and was INDEPENDENT FROM HIS HOLY SPIRIT DIVINE NATURE PERSON, to wit:

"Cumbered with humanity Christ could not be in every place personally, therefore it was altogether for their advantage that He should leave them to go to His Father and send the Holy Spirit to be His successor on earth. The Holy Spirit is Himself divested of the personality of humanity and independent thereof. He would represent Himself as present in all places by His Holy Spirit.” E.G. White, Manuscript Releases Volume 14 (No’s 1081-1135) MR No.1084.

The Prime Factor in the End-time Elijah Message

Many Adventists, since the Pioneers, have believed Ellen White and the Bible (John 14), that there are THREE PERSONS to the Godhead. What those same MANY Adventists have not been aware of is that the Testator had to die to something eternally. What He died to FOREVER is the Omni attributes that are cumbered by His FOREVER humanity. He FOREVER died to His Divine Nature Holy Spirit HIMSELF, which is the nature He had from eternity. This should be far more compelling to the believer, than a sacrifice that involved only three days in a tomb. This is the factor of the end-time Elijah Message that should turn the hearts of the sons to the fathers and to love God and His Son so much the more. This is the eternal sacrifice that paid the eternal wages of the penalty of sin, ETERNAL DEATH. The atonement must be equal to the penalty for man. Jesus gave up His former existence as DIVINE ONLY, WITH ALL THE OMNI’S THE FATHER POSSESSES, to become one with humanity FOREVER. Does the Bible attest to this unfathomable sacrifice?

Christ as a man and a HIGH PRIEST forever -- Hebrews 7:24 But this [man], because he continueth ever, hath an unchangeable priesthood.

Christ ascended to heaven, bearing a sanctified, holy humanity. He took this humanity with Him into the heavenly courts, and through the eternal ages He will bear it, as the One who has redeemed every human being in the city of God.”--The Review and Herald, March 9, 1905. {7ABC 488.1}

In stooping to take upon Himself humanity, Christ revealed a character the opposite of the character of Satan. . . . In taking our nature, the Saviour has bound Himself to humanity by a tie that is never to be broken. Through the eternal ages He is linked with us. "God so loved the world, that He gave His only-begotten Son." John 3:16. He gave Him not only to bear our sins, and to die as our sacrifice; He gave Him to the fallen race. To assure us of His immutable counsel of peace, God gave His only-begotten Son to become one of the human family, forever to retain His human nature. This is the pledge that God will fulfill His word. "Unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the government shall be upon His shoulder." God has adopted human nature in the person of His Son, and has carried the same into the highest heaven.”—The Desire of Ages, p. 25. {7ABC 456.4}

Hbr 7:24 But this [man], because he continueth ever, hath an unchangeable priesthood.

However much a shepherd may love his sheep, he loves his sons and daughters more. Jesus is not only our shepherd He is our "everlasting Father." And He says, "I know Mine own, and Mine own know Me, even as the Father knoweth Me, and I know the Father." John 10:14, 15, R.V. What a statement is this!--the only-begotten Son, He who is in the bosom of the Father, He whom God has declared to be "the Man that is My fellow" (Zech. 13:7),--the communion between Him and the eternal God is taken to represent the communion between Christ and His children on the earth!”--The Desire of Ages, p. 483. {7ABC 438.4}

Christ felt our sin -- "As one with us, He must bear the burden of our guilt and woe. The Sinless One must feel the shame of sin. . . . Every sin, every discord, every defiling lust that transgression had brought, was torture to His spirit."--The Desire of Ages, p. 111. {7ABC 450.1

One Substance -- The Jews had never before heard such words from human lips, and a convicting influence attended them for it seemed that divinity flashed through humanity as Jesus said, "I and my Father are one." The words of Christ were full of deep meaning as he put forth the claim that he and the Father were of one substance, possessing the same attributes.--The Signs of the Times, Nov. 27, 1893, p. 54. {7ABC 437.3}

The Testator of the Testament (Everlasting Covenant) was Divine, so only the Testator could atone for any breach in the Everlasting Covenant. The Divine Testator must “DIE” ETERNALLY to something, and at His Incarnation, He “DIED” FOREVER to His former estate of being DIVINE HOLY SPIRIT ONLY.

Heb 9:16 For where a testament is, there must also of necessity be the death of the testator.

Heb 9:17 For a testament is of force after men are dead: otherwise it is of no strength at all while the testator liveth.

"Christ declared that after his ascension, he would send to his church, as his crowning gift, the Comforter, who was to take his place. This Comforter is the Holy Spirit,--the soul of his life, the efficacy of his church, the light and life of the world. With his Spirit Christ sends a reconciling influence and a power that takes away sin.

In the gift of the Spirit [HIS LIFE--THE SOUL OF HIS LIFE], Jesus gave to man the highest good that heaven could bestow....

The Spirit was given as a regenerating agency, and without this the sacrifice of Christ would have been of no avail....

It is by the Spirit that the heart is made pure. Through the Spirit the believer becomes a partaker of the divine nature. Christ has given his Spirit as a divine power to overcome all hereditary and cultivated tendencies to evil, and to impress his own character upon the church." E.G. White, Review and Herald Articles, May 19, 1904, vol. 5, p. 42.

Christ had stooped to take upon Himself man’s nature; He was to bear an infinite weight of woe as He should make His soul an offering for sin; yet angels desire that even in His humiliation the Son of the Highest might appear before men with a dignity and glory befitting His character.” E.G. White, The Great Controversy, pp. 313, 314.

Some believe that since the Bible says in Genesis that the Holy Spirit moved upon the waters at creation, that this means there were THREE PERSONS AT THAT TIME—BEFORE THE INCARNATION. That is not so, lest there of needs be FOUR PERSONS AFTER THE INCARNATION. The Holy Spirit that was present at creation was the ONE HOLY SPIRIT OF THE FATHER AND THE SON. It is that ONE ETERNAL SHARED SPIRIT that makes them ONE GOD.

In my vision, the Lord showed me that the men who go forth in the Spirit of Elijah and John, are the 144,000, and that only these will understand the Godhead. I was shown that this is why Ellen White said not to dispute over questions on the Godhead.

If men reject the testimony of the inspired Scriptures concerning the deity of Christ, it is in vain to argue the point with them; for no argument, however conclusive, could convince them. "The natural man receiveth not the things of the Spirit of God: for they are foolishness unto him: neither can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned." 1 Corinthians 2:14. None who hold this error can have a true conception of the character or the mission of Christ, or of the great plan of God for man's redemption." {GC 524.2}

The long night interviews which Dr. Kellogg holds are one of his most effective means of gaining his point. His constant stream of talk confuses the minds of those he is seeking to influence. He misstates and misquotes words, and places those who argue with him in so false a light that their powers and discernment are benumbed. He takes their words, and gives them an impress which makes them seem to mean exactly the opposite of what they said.” Ellen G. White, Letter 259, 1904.

All matters relative to the truth on the Godhead, are relative to the deity of Christ, and His equality with the Father, for only One so qualified could volunteer to be the Testator of God’s Everlasting Covenant.

There is labor to be done for the wandering ones. But it will not do to argue with them. When I try to labor with such, and they seek for a controversy, I do not answer them back. I tell them I have not come to argue, but to talk of the love of God to us, and to find out how they are standing in this, the hour of his judgment. I seek to speak words of faith and hope; to take away the unbelief that is leading them away from Jesus.”  {RH, August 28, 1888 par. 8}

Only the 144,000 will sufficiently understand the sacrifice made for the cure for sin this side of heaven, but during the Millennium they, with Christ, will teach the Godhead to the rest who are saved. Sincere questions about the Godhead, in an effort to understand, are well and good, but drawn out argument over clear evidence is a waste of time, and high evidence that the person either does not have the spiritual discernment to understand, or does not wish to understand the truth.

In all ages the Saviour’s chosen have been educated and disciplined in the school of trial. They walked in narrow paths on earth; they were purified in the furnace of affliction. For Jesus’ sake they endured opposition, hatred, calumny. They followed Him through conflicts sore; they endured self-denial and experienced bitter disappointments. By their own painful experience they learned the evil of sin, its power, its guilt, its woe; and they look upon it with abhorrence. A sense of the infinite sacrifice made for its cure humbles them in their own sight and fills their hearts with gratitude and praise which those who have never fallen cannot appreciate. They love much because they have been forgiven much. Having been partakers of Christ’s sufferings, they are fitted to be partakers with Him of His glory.” {GC 649.1}

I was shown that the disciples as the bride of Christ, Desire of Ages, 179, were martyred as was Christ, except for John who was put in a caldron of boiling oil. Thus, His bride, the 144,000, will have experienced death before being regenerated for their role as end-time witnesses. Satan’s counterfeit for this Regeneration is reincarnation. Philadelphia of the first century, was told in Revelation 3:10-12 that she would be kept from the time of trouble that is to come upon the whole world. This occurs due to her regeneration which proves that she has the character to endure the perfected snares of Satan at the end-time, so that he cannot convince the universe that if he had had access to the Philadelphians who are not faulted by God, that he would have gotten victory over them with his state of the art deceptions at the end-time. I was shown that only the 144,000 will understand and accept Regeneration as well. Regeneration answers many questions the 144,000 will be confronted with, and is designed to give them additional faith to endure through the Great Time of Jacob’s Trouble, such as providing them with an explanation to Ellen White’s “food for worms” statement wherein she told a group in 1856, that some of them would be alive when Jesus comes.

The above statement: A sense of the infinite sacrifice made for its cure…” implies that only the 144,000 will understand and accept the infinite sacrifice made for sin’s cure and the implications of that sacrifice, to wit:—the Incarnation sacrifice whereby the Son divested Himself from being DIVINE ONLY, to forever become God come in the likeness of sinful flesh, FULLY HUMAN as well as being FULLY DIVINE, in two separate, independent persons, with His Divine person being His Holy Spirit Divine Nature, the THIRD PERSON of the Godhead. The second person of the Godhead accrued when God was manifest in the flesh. The Trinity Doctrine fully thwarts this sacrificial process by teaching that the three persons of the Godhead were eternal. If there were three eternal persons to the Godhead, then God come in the flesh or the human nature of Christ would add a fourth person. Thus, the Trinity Doctrine sweeps away the entire Christian economy by denying the sacrifice whereby a third person accrued and was adopted into the Godhead.

The Nature of the Holy Spirit

Ellen White said that the personality of God and Christ is a pillar, landmark doctrine, and that the humanity of Christ means everything to us. But she said that the NATURE of the Holy Spirit is a mystery. That means what the Holy Spirit consists of. All we know about God’s SPIRIT, is that He is SPIRIT, and that there is ONE SPIRIT. Beyond that, silence is golden.

The nature of the Holy Spirit is a mystery. Men cannot explain it, because the Lord has not revealed it to them. Men having fanciful views may bring together passages of Scripture and put a human construction on them; but the acceptance of these views will not strengthen the church. Regarding such mysteries, which are too deep for human understanding, silence is golden.” {FLB 54.5}
